For engineering hiring teams

Hire engineers who can fix what AI writes, not just prompt it.

A real codebase, a hidden bug and an AI that won't find it for them. You interview only the engineers who fix it.

In 100 real assessments, only 18% cleared the round.

What changed

AI changed the job. Most Round 1s did not.

Puzzle tests

AI solves them now. They miss what's still on your engineer: edge cases and judgment.

AI-assisted take-homes

You see the result, not how they got there.

Senior engineer screens

Real signal, paid for with your best engineers' time.

AI writes the code now. Hire for the judgment around it.

How it works

Your Round 1, without your engineers.

01

Upload your JD

We draft the screening call and the debugging test from it. You review, then go live.

02

AI screening call

Every applicant gets a call on the must-haves from your JD. It recommends Shortlist, Hold or Reject with quotes. You approve every decision.

03

Debugging round with AI

A production grade codebase for your stack, with a real bug. The AI writes every change but won't diagnose the bug. The candidate finds the cause and decides what to apply.

04

A report you can defend

A score out of 100 built on code correctness and depth of understanding, a hiring recommendation, and a replay of every instruction they gave the AI.

Would you ship this fix?

The AI writes a fix that looks right. Strong engineers check it against the real cause before they ship it.

FAQ

Questions teams ask us

Can't candidates just ask the AI to find the bug?

No. The AI writes code when asked, but it won't diagnose the bug. Candidates have to find the cause and tell it what to change. Every instruction they give is in the report.

How do you stop cheating?

The camera runs on the candidate's device throughout. It flags phones, extra people and signs of automation, with photo proof in the report.

How long does setup take?

Upload a JD and review the draft. A new position takes about 5 minutes. First-time onboarding takes up to 24 hours.

Which roles and stacks do you support?

Any engineering role. We read the stack and seniority from your JD and build the codebase around them.

How do candidates feel about it?

Candidates rate the experience 4.1 out of 5 on average, and its fairness 4.3 out of 5.

Risk free pilot

Run one role free. Keep it only if it proves out.

Up to 10 real candidates, alongside your current Round 1. We compare who we flag with who your process passes. Send us a JD and your pilot role is ready in about 10 minutes.
